The metal expansion plug is a fastener used for attaching light loads. The driven pin is made of steel, which is zinc-plated to protect against corrosion. The sleeve is made of metal and is manufactured using a ZnAl alloy.
The metal expansion plug is used for driving in solid substrates. It works well in concrete substrates and is useful for multi-point fastening of elements. Installation is very simple and intuitive; simply insert the plug into the prepared hole and strike with a hammer. KSMM must be anchored in holes at least 25 mm deep.
FEATURES:
PRODUCT MATERIAL:
the expansion sleeve is made of a ZnAl alloy, the nail is electro-galvanized steel. KSMM fasteners are electro-galvanized with a zinc coating of at least 5µm thickness.
APPLICATION:
For solid building materials such as standard C20/25 concrete.
Example of use:
KSMM expansion plugs are designed for non-structural, multi-point fastenings of statically loaded building elements in substrates. Metal connectors are suitable for substrates made of standard, reinforced and unreinforced, non-cracked concrete, class at least C20/25 1)
