The nylon mesh sleeve is a complementary element to the chemical anchor fastening system. It is made of nylon, a material that is more flexible and extensible than polyester. The perforated design of the sleeve surface allows for a positive connection with the wall and the non-load-bearing layer of the substrate (air voids) while simultaneously saving mortar.
The mesh sleeve is an essential product that facilitates rod installation in porous substrates. It reinforces the anchor and is used for anchoring in perforated brick walls, perforated blocks, or hollow core blocks.
Nylon sleeves for chemical anchors are equipped with a centering plug that holds the anchor rod axially and prevents mortar from leaking out of the sleeve, especially in the case of anchors mounted to ceilings.
