The IMPAX-type self-drilling screw for steel sheets and profiles is a fastening element used in construction works. It is made of galvanized steel and additionally equipped with a steel washer with EPDM. For fastening, it features a hexagonal head, a precise thread, and a drilling tip.
The IMPAX self-drilling screw is used in installation works involving sheet metal elements. It allows drilling through sheets and profiles up to 12 mm thick. It is mainly used for fastening sheets to steel load-bearing structures. It can be used in roofing works for installing metal roof tiles, fastening overlapping sheets, as well as for other construction works and repairs.
The WS-IMPAX screw design ensures fast and effective installation. The element can be installed using power tools equipped with appropriate bits. The self-drilling tip of the shank facilitates precise positioning of the element. The EPDM washer ensures tightness at the drilled hole.
