OPÅš worm drive clamps are designed for quick and easy fastening of industrial hoses and flexible conduits during installation and other work. They consist of a 9 mm wide metal strap and a tightening lock. The tightening mechanism is operated by a hexagonal head screw with an additional Phillips socket. The screw and lock are electro-galvanized, while the strap is coated with an Al-Zn coating.
Worm drive clamps are useful for tightly fastening rubber hoses to fittings in water, air, and gas systems, as well as in the automotive industry. The clamp is placed on the hose surface and, after tightening, presses it against the internal connector. The worm drive mechanism in the compact lock housing and the extruded thread in the tape, which is smooth on the inside, ensure a secure clamp. The rounded edges of the worm drive clamp protect against damage to the hose surface.
Worm drive clamps are installed using a screwdriver or a 7 mm wrench, which is used with the tightening lock. The same mechanism allows the clamp to be tightened or loosened.
